"You deserve only excellent"
DR. KONSTANTIN FRANK
Dr. Konstantin Frank knew from his experience growing grapes in very cold climates that high quality vinifera wines could be made in New York. With plenty of opposition, Dr. Konstantin Frank pushed forward and made his own way. No one believed him. Named Top 100 Winery of 2019, the proof is now in our wines.
Dr. Konstantin Frank ignited the “Vinifera Revolution” a movement that forever changed the course of wine growing in the Finger Lakes and the United States. Dr. Frank’s vision, knowledge and determination are credited with elevating the New York wine industry from a state of happy mediocrity to a level that today commands world attention.
A Unique Experience
Named a Top 100 Winery in 2019 by Wine & Spirits Magazine and 10 Best Tasting Room in America by USA Today, we invite you to visit our winery steeped with Four Generations of history. Third and Fourth Generations Fred and Meaghan Frank continue the legacy of our founder.
Old Vines Make Great Wine
With original vineyards dating back to 1958, our 60+ year old vines represent some of the oldest vines in the Finger Lakes and the 2nd oldest Pinot Noir in America. The older the vine, the more it pulls out of the Earth.
Estate Grown Wines
For over sixty years and four generations we continue Konstantin’s legacy by producing the highest quality wines from the highest quality grapes.
In 1985, Willy Frank stunned the wine industry by releasing the first méthode champenoise sparkling wine made from vinifera grape varieties in the Finger Lakes. 35 years later we continue our excellence in sparkling wines.
