VINIFICATION:
Hand selected fruit juice that was harvested in the cool of the early morning was whole bunch pressed and then the free run juice was collected and cold settled in traditional fashion. The settled juice was then transferred to a mixture of new and old French oak barrels where it underwent both primary and malo-lactic fermentation. Time old methods of sur lie were practiced throughout its maturation over nine months in oak.
DESCRIPTION:
The 2008 Dr. Frank Reserve Chardonnay entices with rich nuances of pear, vanilla and almond. The mouth is a field of butter and vanilla with a luxurious creamy finish. Try with white sauce pasta dishes such as Chicken Carbonara.
