Dr. Frank Cabernet (NV)





VINIFICATION:

This blend is made of 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Cabernet Franc and 54% Merlot. The wine was aged in an even blend of French and American oak for 12 months and was racked twice. The wine was not cold stabilized and may therefore throw tartrates. This was done in an effort to minimize aroma and color losses. Finally the wine was given a loose filtration and adjusted for bottling.

DESCRIPTION:

This wine presents the typical Bordeaux type bouquet associated with Meritage wines. Aromas of Blackberries, Plums and cherries as well as smoky elements dominate the nose while the palate presents a great balance between the fruit, tannins, acid and alcohol. Very soft tannins and a lingering finish make this an irresistible red wine.

Acidity: .54g/100ml
pH: 3.50
Sugar: 0.2%
