Dr. Frank Semi Dry Riesling 2006

VINIFICATION:
After crushing, destemming, pressing and cold temperature settling, the wine was fermented at a low temperature. The fermentation was stopped before dryness to preserve the fruity character of this wine. The wine was racked, blended, filtered, fined, cold stabilized and adjusted for bottling.
DESCRIPTION:
The 2006 Semi Dry Riesling, presenting a light golden hue, shows a fruitier less mineral character than the dry Riesling. The bouquet is dominated by ripe fruity aromas of melon, pear and pineapple. The mouthfeel is very pleasant with a good balance between the residual sugar and the acidic backbone typical of Riesling with a long finish. This Semi-dry Riesling is very enjoyable with spicy food or just on its own.
ANALYSIS:
Alcohol: 11.5%
Acidity: .75g/100ml
pH: 3.34
Sugar: 3.0%
