Dr. Frank's Dry Rosé The Dr. Frank Dry Rosé is a blend of Bordeaux varietals and Pinot Noir leaving a long, clean finish of cranberry flavors. The pink juice is obtained by the bleeding process whereby the grapes are crushed, put into a tank and the juice is allowed to soak color from the skins. The juice is then “bled” off and fermented at a low temperature to preserve the fruitiness. This wine is fermented in 5 year old French barrels and racked to tank in the end of the fermentation. Description: The rose tinted color of the 2006 Rose reveals intense and subtle aromas of peach, lychee, mango and lime with grassy notes. On the palate, the smooth beginning is held up by the acidity, leaving a pleasant finish due to the barrel fermentation. Served chilled, it complements fish, meats or vegetarian dishes.
