Chateau Frank Blanc de Noirs 2000

COMPOSITION:
90% Pinot Noir
10% Pinot Meunier
VINIFICATION:
Chateau Frank Blanc de Noirs was produced exclusively from the red-skinned Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, grown in our own
Finger Lakes
vineyards. These grapes were hand-picked, then gently and slowly pressed so as to extract their superb fruit flavors without any of their color. After estate triage the bottles were aged “sur lies” in underground cellars for more than four years before being riddled and disgorged.
DESCRIPTION:
This is a rich and complex sparkling wine with great structure and length. With aromas of pear, apple, vanilla and hazelnut that combine with the toasty yeast character, persistent foam and tiny bubbles, this style of sparkling wine makes for a perfect accompaniment to a fine meal.
ANALYSIS:
Alcohol: 12.1%
Acidity: .78g/100ml
pH: 2.99
Sugar: 1%
